My adopted mom/big sister/close friend gave me a book to read “The Shack” and I have to say that I am falling in love with it! For me it has been one of those books that I don’t want to put it down, but I have to step away from it other wise everything around me sinks!
This book has opened up a whole different picture of how I veiw the Lord, how I see Him and the type of relationship we could have. It is one of those books that seems to bring up one of your deepest pains and instead of reading about the book you seem to be reading about yourself. It has been challenging what I believe and also expanding my views. I am only half way through it, but I would recommend in to anyone! Pick it up, read it, and let me know what you think!

Going to work sometimes feels like I am heading back to High School. On the floor I work there is half the floor that will tell ya how it is if something is wrong; then there is the other half that will talk behind your back about how you touched their pencil until they are blue in the face!
Everyday I have to cross over into the other side, I do this on a daily bases but most of the time I am running to the other side and back for fear that someone might track me down and start talking to me about so and so. Yet for an hour I have to go up and sit down and hope that nothing will get started. Yet every day something does and what do I do, smile and nod! What else is there to do when someone has dramaitis? Do you sit there and agree, do you just listen, or do you step up and tell them to keep it shut! Which I don’t think I could ever do! How can some live a life where all they seem to do is talk about others?

I started giving blood as soon as I was able to, there was just something about it that I could not wait to do. I’m not for sure how much I have given but I know I try and go every time I can. I love being able to help and I know that sometimes in my life I will not have the right words to say, or be able to do the right thing, or even lend a helping hand but I will always have blood to give.
Well for a few years know I have wanted to sign up to be a bone marrow donor. I have known a few people in my life time who have had donations and they would not be here today if it was not for someone helping them out. I love helping and I can’t help but wonder what my life would be like if I could not find someone to donate their blood or marrow to someone who meant the world to me. It seems like such a simple thing but yet so many people die from not receiving the proper donation.
Today I final signed up and I am so excited. I’m not writing about this to gloat about what I do with my life but I am passing on the awareness and asking to just think about donating if you can. Not just marrow but think about donating blood. It is something that takes very little time but can help a lot of people along the way.
If you are not into donating in the areas of your body do you donate your time into something else? It is worth thinking about and I encourage you to think about ways to make this world a better place.

Never in my life time have I ever looked so forward to Friday’s. In High School it was alright, but really who worked that hard in High School to be excited about the weekend? If you did work hard in High School you had no weekend because you were working!
College, our Friday’s were on Thursday’s! Most don’t have classes on Friday’s and if you did you were a outcast without even knowing about it! I still find myself excited about Thursday’s for that reason!
Yet although I am still in college it’s summer time and working a typical 8 to 5 job Friday’s are amazing! Not only are every other Friday’s payday but it also means that I have nothing I have to worry about for the next morning and I can do whatever I want to do tonight!
The most exciting thing…sleeping in! We have been having some pretty cold morningshere in the valley and nothing is harder to do then to try and roll yourself out of bed when it is cold! So tomorrow I don’t have to and for sure don’t plan too! I’m very excited!
What are the things you look most forward to on Friday’s?
